Things to do When You're in Mobile, Alabama

While one of the country's largest port cities, Mobile, AL is so much more than wharves and cargo bins. A culturally rich, historically significant business and vacation destination, the city of Mobile offers so many things to do and see.

Among the Many Things to Do and See in Mobile

Like many visitors to Mobile, you may want to start with a visit to downtown where you'll find much of its historic Italianate, Greek Revival and Creole architecture lovingly preserved. Stroll down any street under the shade of 200-year-old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. If you're here in March, take part in the city's famous Azalea Trail Festival, a 30-plus-mile floral tour that winds past some of Southern Alabama's loveliest antebellum homes.

Whatever Mobile destination you're headed for, the Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile–Providence Park/Airport Hotel offers a great starting point for all things to do and see in Mobile, Alabama.
